Back to school. It's a time of excitement, of new beginnings, of possibilities, that, more often than not, adults don't get to enjoy. But not this year! Join the Botanical Research Institute of Texas, the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, and GROW for an evening of tasty snacks, adult beverages, and three fast-paced, fun, and educational 'mini-classes' that will offer participants a sneak peek at our fall adult education offerings.

Guests will choose three of the following classes:

  • Make (and take!) a teeny, tiny terrarium with our friends from the Tarrant Area Master Gardeners and the Begonia Society.
  • Join instructor Samantha Peters and learn how to paint the perfect watercolor leaf.
  • Dr. Brooke Best will be giving an intro to her November class Supermarket Botany.
  • Kay Seiko will be teaching guests how to make an Origami seed-starting pot.
  • Dr. Grace Bascope will preview her popular Native American Plant Use class.

We'll wrap up the evening with dessert and conversation. While you’re here, you can be one of the first to sign up for our fall classes and workshops. Don’t miss out on the fun and excitement of back to school time.
