Our Mission: To provide meaningful experiences founded in education and community that engage and inspire people to appreciate plants and sustain our planet.
Girls Nature Workshops provide girls the opportunity to complete badge requirements through experiential, nature based workshops. Please note: petals or badges are not available on site; they can be purchased at the Girl Scout store or online.
Join in on the fun during Family Workshops! During each workshop, you and your family will be guided by an expert instructor to learn something new and experience a side of nature you may have never experienced before. From nature photography to how to plant a pollinator garden, your family will walk away with new knowledge and memories they will never forget.
Come and GROW with us in our outdoor classrooms at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and BRIT! Homeschool Day is a custom experience designed to assist exploration for homeschool students and energize their quest to discover more!
This program is recommended for children equivalent to kindergarten through 10th grade.
We encourage parents to stay with younger children if you have children in different grade levels.
If you love to read and you're passionate about botany, natural history, sustainability, and other similar topics, then join us the third Monday of each month for the BRIT Reads Book Club. This informal group meets from noon - 1 pm in the Oak Conference Room at BRIT. Bring your lunch and bring a friend and come tell us what you thought about our book of the month. No time to read but still want to hear what people have to say about a particular book? No problem! We'd love to have you!
Instead of a traditional camp, this year we are introducing a whole new way to experience the Garden together through themed activity kits. Adventure Days in the Garden offer the fun of camp for the whole family! Adventure kits are designed to engage all ages in activities that draw attention to nature while exploring unique garden spaces.
